Terms of service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Scenaven, a service run by one person in Oregon. By creating an account or using Scenaven — the website (scenaven.com) or the app (scenaven.app) — you accept them. Our privacy policy is part of this agreement.
Scenaven is a beta
Scenaven is in invite-only beta testing. It's free during the beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the beta may end. If Scenaven ever becomes a paid service, we'll tell you before anything charges you — nothing will ever be charged without your agreement.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older to have an account.
- Accounts are personal and invite codes are single-use. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your account in good standing by following these terms.
What Scenaven does — and doesn't do
Scenaven gathers live-music listings from venues' own calendars and from services like Ticketmaster and SeatGeek, and organizes them around the artists, venues, and areas you follow. Scenaven is not affiliated with the venues, artists, or ticket sellers it lists, and a listing is never an endorsement. Scenaven does not sell tickets.
Show information can be wrong
Listings come from third parties and change constantly: shows are announced, moved, and cancelled, and prices move. We work to keep listings accurate, but we can't guarantee any date, time, lineup, or price. Always confirm with the venue or the ticket seller before you travel or buy. Anything you buy is from that seller, under their terms — refunds and exchanges are theirs to handle, not ours.
Your content
- What you add — Stubs, notes, photos, a profile photo, artist images — stays yours.
- You give us permission to store it and to show it as the service works: to you, and to Roadies you share it with, in the ways the privacy policy describes. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies still cycling out of backups.
- Only add content you have the right to add. Don't upload photos you don't have permission to share, and don't record things about other people that aren't true.
- If someone asks us to remove content about them, we'll review it and may remove it. We may remove any content, or close any account, that breaks these terms.
Roadies
Roadie connections are mutual and either side can end one at any time. During the beta, the operator's account is added as a first Roadie on new accounts; you can remove it like any other connection. Roadie suggestions ("people you may know") are guesses based on area and shared connections — a suggestion is not a statement about anyone.
Fair use of the service
- Don't scrape Scenaven, access it with automated tools, or try to get at other people's data or accounts.
- Don't impersonate anyone, spam other users, or use Scenaven to harass anyone.
- Don't probe, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its security.
- Don't use Scenaven for anything unlawful.
Names, logos, and listings
The Scenaven name, wordmark, and radar icon belong to us. Artist and venue names, logos, and images belong to their owners; we use them only to identify the shows and places they refer to, and their appearance never means affiliation or endorsement.
Feedback
Bug reports and suggestions are welcome. If you send us an idea, we may use it without owing you payment or credit.
Ending things
You can stop using Scenaven at any time, and email [email protected] to have your account deleted as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may end the beta or the service — if the service itself is ending for good, we'll give reasonable notice where we can. The sections about content, responsibility, and liability survive the end of an account or of the service.
Provided as-is
Scenaven is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or complete.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses — missed shows, travel costs, ticket purchases, or lost data — arising from using Scenaven or relying on a listing. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Scenaven after a change means you accept the new terms. If a significant change affects your content or account, we'll note it in the app.
